These lovely pieces have been gold electroplated on the back with a full outer edge of raw quartz and agate ending in a cluster of little raw and natural crystal points along the underside.

A very beautiful and unique cut! The stone cross section shows the layers of natural mineral formation as well as a cluster of raw and naturally occurring crystal points along the bottom. These layers and points are exactly as they were formed over thousands to millions of years, undyed and perfect in their natural imperfections

METAL CONTENT: Nickel and lead free
The stones are 24k gold plated over a copper electroformed base.
The posts are 24k gold plated steel with gold plated brass backs

TECHNIQUE:
Each earring is cut and shaped by hand from natural stone slabs; no two pieces are exactly alike.

After polishing, the edge of the earrings is brushed with conductive paint, allowing the copper to fuse with the stone through a process known as “electroforming.” The earrings are then finished with a layer of 24k gold electroplating.
