Refund policy

Returns

Returns can be made by mail. To return a good by mail, follow the following procedure:
We will gladly accept like-new product for return or exchange for any reason as long as it is shipped back (return label is scanned) within 30 days of the order being delivered.
Note: we are in Canada so the return process has a few extra steps and might be a little more costly. The cost of the return postage will either be purchased by you or will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Please contact us as soon as you decide you would like to return your item.
Repackage the item(s) carefully. If you still have the original packaging that the order was shipped in, we may be able to email a return label to you, and will inform you of the return shipping fee at that time.
If we are not able to provide you with a return label, or if the order is placed in new packaging of a different size or weight than what it was received in, return
shipping will need to be purchased by you through any carrier of your choice (provided that they offer a tracking number.)

If shipping from the US and postage is purchased, please note on the customs declaration that it is a product return.

Refunds

Refund requests must be made within 30 days after receipt of your goods.
Refunds do not apply to the following goods:

  • Clearance sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Opened sealed-package items such as tarot cards.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges 

We want you to love wearing your jewelry! If the piece doesn't fit, please reach out at kat@curiousoddities.ca and we will see if we can exchange it for a different size or a different item.

Damaged goods

Please contact us immediately at kat@curiousoddities.ca if your item has arrived damaged or becomes damaged with a short amount of regular wear. We will happily replace an item that is defective or damaged.
